today's the last day for me to update a post. well..b4 my enlistment tml! haha..anw..these few weeks have been quite fun for me..enjoyable.. and catching up old times with my friends(esp sd,zy n jas). I used to be the lagger in gossips and event/jokes updates in sec sch..and while in JC.. obviously..it went worse..haha.. so busy with college activities..well tt means good for my SGC(which is like long term investment) =) lol..
anw..yesterday went down for sports day.. was quite boring there..cos ms wong was rather busy to chit chat.. there was this novelty race tt i took part for fun.. lol.. actually was ms wong ask me help play for yellow hse..hahah.. anw..quite abit of fun la.. esp during the course..my friend gae-kian follow me jump to one of the railings and split a hole in his pants.. hAhah!

after the sports day..went down vivo with sd,zy,jas.. all of us spent quite a bit of money on candyempire, timezone, daiso. really broke liao..and we went chomp chomp for gd food. =)
i was craving for carrot cake, which was okay..quite nice.. i ordered sugarcane juice(which was good), sd ordered satay(which was good), jas ordered stingray(which was also good)...anddddd... zy ordered chicken wing(which was un-tasty) HAHA!! lucky i only ordered one..
and after dinner..we decided to walk..walk to amk..aimlessly.. we made several big detours..and along the way..we were learning some exterior and interior designs of the houses there.. hahaha..
until finally we saw this playground and the main road *yay!*

saw this spider-web pyramid, as i always used to call it..dunno wad its the correct term..hahaha..other pple also say tt..so i just followw..
jason made the first climb..didnt seem as high as it would be..

until when its my turn..lol..it really is high..haha..but i was at the peak le lar..

anw..there was this cocky little young boy(next to jason)..who obviously is spoilt by his parents..lol..keep hao-lianing how gd he can climb..esp when climbing down..lol..his hands just slipped along the ropes..wahh..tt one zai..but dun ur hands hurt?? lol..tt kind of rope-burn..hahah..he still can ta-han..
and so..we went amk hub after tt..b4 returning to yishun for 1 race of Outrun 2..b4 gg back home.. =)

haiz..was thinking quite hard just now on whether i should update this blog just before my enlistment..with 2 more days drawing near..im gonna start missing somethings and some events.. I cant watch the tokyo phil orchestra(i think) on 19th april. Im gonna missed celebration for CCHYSB (on 11apirl) plus alumni pracs.. no pranks on students.. anw..CCHYSB got Gold. I shld be proud. and of course..listening to songs and songs.. gonna missed Mahjonging =p haha..(to those 3 who have fallen the dark side, im now the lord of darkness) lol..
just completed this book today.

i must say..i've really found some objectives in life from this book.. after knowing tt 5 secrets..its really hard to live through it. im still gonna try! cos tt's the 2nd secret. hahaa.. anw..today was at northpoint area wandering(again)..and saw alinia and hilary. wow..really didnt see them for so long.. sometimes when i see alnia online..also didnt dare to talk to her..dunno why.. but got this feeling tt she forgot abt me..which coincidentally..also wad she was feeling(as wad she said).. LOL. yea..so we went cold storage awhile..just to wander around, catch up with each other..
today, i've done a good deed. was at the underground pass, den saw this blind man who was asking around for help(quite desperately), but no one bothered him. So, i went up to him and help. guide him to the interchange and waited bus 852 with him. there was completely no one at the queue, and i was afraid tt when the bus arrive, there's no one to help him board. Anw, he was from bukit batok, came all the way to yishun to buy kolopok(becos its cheap). hmm..i was reflecting about this.. times is so bad now tt a blind man had to travelled from bukit batok to yishun to get tt few packets of chips.. and earlier this morning..some aunty from the opposite block came to my hse, and wanted to sell some of her goods.. she was begging me and my mum to buy(only the 2 of us were at home) and saying her husband dunno wad..daughters dunno wad..very difficult to survive.. well, it may sound like im crude here..but for a medium sized packet of pork floss..she's selling at $15. she even attempt to sell a packet of saussage( i suppose is abt the same price too). the price was way too steep..in the end.. bo bian..i just bought it.. well..it could be the book im reading, tt's reminding me to make the changes of my life.. at the very least..i do feel happy with myself today..
so..for those who are reading this post..u may want to read this little book. its not thick at all..and there are some short stories tt potray the secrets. but wad ii liked best are those quotes from famous people. those words of wisdom are meaningful. =)

haha..i think my blog has only 1 purpose for me. And tt's to serve as a hub for linking to other blogs..lol. anw..becos of my good result, i've decided to give my family and grandparents a treat. it costs almost $100 in total, but then my grandfather gave me an hongbao of $100. LOL! anw.. treated my clique they all to Astons at SSC. too bad no pics given.. we are not really tt kind of pple to take many many photos.
Today, wenbin, serene n sihui came my hse mahjonging..they keep complaining abt my hse fengshui set against them. LOL. n i won the most today, $4.50. HAHA. what can i say? lalala...

hahahahahaha... i've got 5As! lol..so haolian..dunno whether i shld be happy not.. cos my GP like shit... anw.. first thing to say is..:
I've finally get to go on to stage to claim my result! Im Honoured! I've been waiting for that for 4yrs..since sec 3.. everytime just hit below the benchmark, very sianz one.. so.. Congratz to ME!! WOO!!

finally got to Disneyland, a childhood dreamland of mine(it is still now =) )... well..in fact i would actually preferred that in Japan =D haha..i will start saving up for that trip soon.. okie..so this is the special post i mentioned.. well..this is one post i will really do all the description i can.
Morning: Hong Kong Disneyland is actually quite a long distance from the place we stayed in, called Mongkok. So, we the ride took about 45 min to reach there, after taking into account of the speeding coach and spacious expressways. So, when we reached the gateway to the entrance, we didnt have much time to take photos, as we were rushing for our preparation of our performance later. and here's our admission tickets..

Next, we were in the backstage, setting up insrtuments and tuning up. Photography was not allowed there, as our teachers were 'caught' by the crews..haha.. and a few times too.. Weather was good; sunny day and cool temperature, well..perhaps a bit too sunny.. to comment about the climate there..everything is so good, except that very dry atmosphere. We are not used to their low humidity, and thus, an aweful experience to our drying lips..
and..showtime!!

after our performance, we are free to enjoy our day at Disneyland. First, we went to the Lion King's festival, and took pics along the way..

hmm..cant really recall wad we did next.. but i know we took a couple of rides..

and den, we took the Space station roller coaster ride..it was a very cool experience. this is a indoor roller coaster with graphics stimulation, making the ride of a rocket in outer space quite real. pitch black darkness and then galaxies of stars to admire during the ride. here's the pics of us during the ride. LOL!

and here's our lunch at Skyliner Diner. their chicken are delicious! =) oh..and we ate with hand gloves! haha..we noticed that e people in HK eat fast food with hand gloves..so we joined in the fun too!! the photo nt with me yet..

and den..we do our shopping at this winnie the pooh shop..spent quite some time there, bying many, many things.. everything just looked so adorable and appealing..those cookies tin containers..if i could just grab hold of all of them.. =(
Disney Parade: though the shows start at 5.30pm..the whole street is already crowded like this at 5.10 pm..but still..we manage to get a good spot and i took videos of the parade...uploading of the videos is so troublesome..so i shall skipped it first..
and after the parade..me and debbie embarked on our journey to find the Magical Coin Press! we went around to search these machines at hidden corners...and i was like crazy abt those coins at that time..here are my collections! =D

by 7pm, the sky darkens and the street lamps lit up.. we were given this pair of special specs..that when u used it to see thru lights..u see...

yep! snowman(s)!! haha..very cute!!

the Fireworks show: that was the best ever fireworks show i've ever watched..those fireworks festival in singapore cant hold a candle to Disneyland's. the sychronisation of the sparks and the music was just splendid! the timing was very precise! the effects were just awesome and one can understand all the sparkles that lit up in the sky..the disneyland crews do not need to tell u wad each feature potrays.. zzzZZzzz.. im still dreaming of that fireworks scenery.. lucky i still got record the display, and to keep refreshing my dream..hahaa.. i may post the pics of the fireworks in the next post den..

well..i guess that will be the end of this post..but not my adventure for the next Disneyland visit! haha..so long never blog..suddenly bomb one super long de..

yep! Im back from my 5day trip to hong kong with YJ band on monday..have been spending the last few days packing my stuffs and organising photos!! haha!! i used up my 2GB memory all on photos..and have to borrow memory card from Casper..LOL anw..i wont be uploading the photos so soon yet..trying to find some shortcuts to share them..

About the trip: The weather in Hong Kong is very cold now..and most of the time it was abt 13 degrees - cold! weather was very dry there..and everyone's lips were all burning.. so it sort of affect our performance..there are just too many things to say abt HK.. the roads are bumpy since there are so many mountainous areas, every stretch of expressways seems like a roller coaster track, traffic is damn busy, we jay-ran the roads cos cars there dun wait for pple, taxis speed at any chnace they have, have dim sum almost every morning, which is very oily... the desserts in LUucky Dessert is very nice with a huge serving.

Abt the places we visited:
1) Victoria Peak - some 600+ metres above the sea level..the temperature there is really cold.. with strong winds and cold air.. but a beautiful night scenery awaits us..the night view of the buildings was very nice..i took quite a no. of photos of tt..

2) wax Museum - many celebrities and important people were there as our 'models'.. i took with Ayumi, Michael Jackson, Johnny Depp, Princess Diana and..many many more.. even our mentor minister, Mr Lee, was there.. Ayumi!
3) exchange with some schools - the HKIEED, a university, another sec sch and primary sch.. we even get to see the rehearsal of a orchestra from Shanghai..they were very nice..extending their invitation to us to be part of their rehearsals.. Mr rasull, Mr sim and a couple of students joined them... of course i didnt join them ..took some photos with them too! =) trumpet section
4) Shopping! it was crazy shopping with jon lim they all..haha.. we got lost in the streets..thus got to take cab back to hotel ourselves..i didnt buy a lot on the 2nd night shopping..that was when i found zy's required DVD. anw... casper ate their KFC..which is a huge serving, costing S$6++, very worth it..zinger burger is much bigger insize than Singapore's, and inside still got hash brown somemore..hmmmm..i regret not eating it... =(
5) Disneyland - i will post a special blog on Disneyland another day..its my dream come true to be there..
6) on the way back..we still shopped a lot in the HK airport..i bought mostly snacks..get to sit the window seat..th night view was nice..like some circuit board or smth..haha..mechanics..

yesterday was a last minute arranged class outing. as u can see..there are 9 pple out of 18 attendance. lol. but we still had some FUN =) anw..just uploading the photos here.. not much talking will be done.

yesterday went to the symphony of 'smoky flowers' with sd, zy & jason.. luckily jason managed to persuade zy to go..cos i 'very disappointed' ( as what i overheard jason was taking to zy). BTW, we were the Patriotic Singaporeans who stayed at home to watch the match of Li Jiawei and Guoyue before gg out. the match ended at 8.15pm.. sd had got to swallow a bowl of tonic soup, and we like met at 8.35?? the fireworks was supposed to start at 9pm.. hmmm.. we were quite worried tt we would missed the display..or at most catch a few minutes glimpse of it.

so..it seems tt the display was delayed for 30min as we still had time to go to the gents and attempting to go to the rooftop. at 1 of the escalators to the rooftop, we were stopped by the security guard. he knew in 1st place that we had no tickets even though we didnt gesture anything indicating we dun have it. he must be a psyhics!

up next..will be the photos of the display. =) haha..i apologise for the blurness of the pictures. haha..i think the location i stand quite strategic..can see the almost all the fireworks display plus tt tree as the foreground element. =)

oh..this picture was taken when jason was a gentlemen for helping 2 unknown girls taking photos..they request him to take with the fireworks behind them.haha! jason had a hard time..as everytime he took a pic, the sparks from the fireworks would diminish. LOL! 助人为快乐之本 (help others out of happiness) look how 'happy' he was

and the finale...!!

we attempted to take photos..but it took us 3 tries:
1st try: too dark.
2nd try: eyes closed(everytime the same guy)
3rd try: Yeah!

after the diplay..we went to marina sq.and on the way there..we met jerry and his group. we didnt do much after the fireworks display as i only planned to go and eat. sd suggested to watch movie..but there were not much shows lately. we couldn't eat in marina sq as all the fast food restaurants were fully occupied. head back to raffles city to ta at BK. but at this hr(near 11pm), all were closing already.

then..we got a small 'dispute', a hilarious one! yishun pple want go yishun eat..sembawang pple want go sembawang eat. we were debating where to eat..which Mac is nicer..a joyous meal in sbw (claimed by jason) and a bigger chicken patty at Yishun's mac(claimed by sd). LOL! only then..when the SMRT driver announce: ' this train will terminate its service at Yishun.' HAHA!! fate!! FATE!! its destined to go yishun and eat!! we were laughing non-stop then...lol.. but the ending had a different turn. we eventually didnt eat and just went back home. LOL!

Aichi Meiden concert was Splendid! Awesome! Fantastic! Excellent! totallly cool!!

Armenia Dances was one of the songs they played that gave me goosepimples throughout the whole song. 2 years ago, they rocked the concert hall. 2 yrs later, they did it again. Everyone cheered and there were 4 encores! they are so good that 4 encores mean nth to them..just wipe the mouth abit with sleeves, they are back in action to rock the hall!! hahaa...seriously..their endurance are so gd even after heavy pieces like Armenian Dances, Olympic Overture and Riverdance.
well..enough of the praising..if i cintinue on..there will be too many repetitive words liao. here are the videos of Aichi Meiden High School Band!

i wasn't able to give my speech as an EXCO member..n i was not able to hand down my SL post to ee hui.. hmm..so many things i missed out..

whee!!!! got an 'A' for Project Work!! wohoo!!! the result was finally out yesterday! with those worries of how we did for PW, esp for oral presentation! yeah! my whole group got As and really we owe it mostly to our J1 GP tutor; Ms Ng. during last yr..our preparation for pw was so intense..with countless of rehearsals and revising of our WR and OP. yesterday while some of the class went to thank her..she even said; you all better have not been cursing me arr..

haha..yeap..and i can say tt i've not cursed her or anything. =D and now..with my 1st 'A' on my list..i MUST continue to pursue the other 3!!! MUST MUST !!!
anw..i was still feeling very good and proud of my grp..esp of our skit at the end of our presentation. We inject both formal and causal moods into it..esp with singing of the 'Hallejuah' chorus in front of everyone.. + Ms einstein.. scholar who shouted 'OH MY...(interupted halfway)', the sales person and his well-FED(FAT) family as well as the 10 generations of priests-in-line. LOL. HURRAY for Johannes Gutenberg!

and yesterday's band prac was rather fun too! with the interesting Goldilocks story we have in place, as well as Kingdom Hearts for the concert.. hmm.. (interrupted) those interested in YJ Winds concert coming this 3rd may at YJC audi, 7.30pm can approach me. =) yeap..and.btw..yesterday got 2 cornets borrowed from some school. cant wait to try it out for armenian! =)

4/03/08 was my day to visit the National Museum of Singapore, which is featuring the 'Greek Masterpieces from the Louvre.'In this exhibition, we(YJ) get to view a fine selection of 130 scupltures, figurines and vases that were from the Greek civilisation in the Classical Period(5th to 4th centuries BC).
As this is my first experience, my inquistive nature surfaced.. lol .. and i got to learn about the the culture and gods of Greeks..
one of the interesting stories i heard was the history of why participants of the Olympics used to be naked during the competition. Initially, the Greeks used to run with their heavy armours(weighing approx. 40kg). But there was this man, who ran so fast that his armour dropped off, but still with his clothing(linen) on. And as he ran(still very fast), his linen caught fire and by the time he reached the finishing line, he was naked! Though naked, he was the champion and that was how the people of Greece realised being NAKED is the winning method! lol.

yesterday was siang deng's birthday! and today's sheryl's!! and and coming tuesday is ferran's!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAYSS!! lol.. today im quite early to blog abt it..

starting in the morning. i went NUS to attend some socio-political quiz. LOL. i know it isnt me to take part in such things..esp my knowlege in current affairs is really CMI. well.. didnt get into the final rounds(obvously)..but watching the top 3 teams competing each other..its very fun!! haha.. an hr of drama there..seeing a competition not of wits..but of the best sabotage method! teams get to sabo each other very jialat..and the fierest competition is btw ACJC n RI. lol.. this provves where one of many singaporeans' multitalents are. haha.

hi there..i shall just post the scene abt the embarrassing moment we had in swensens. We got a deal for free 'Firehouse' in exchange for standing up on chairs, letting everyone in the restaurant to see us, hmm.and maybe singing 'Happy Birthday' to us. hmm..with a few spare time to spare now(though im having 2 more papers on mon & tues)..i shall recount briefly on the 'recent' events i haven blogged about.

1) Chalet
a chalet celebrating my cousins(cheryl and sally)' birthdays. hmm..i cldn't really say its fun and exciting becos of my poor planning(as well as the bad weather). well, from this chalet, i just happened to know tt almost all my cousins(younger than me somemore) are playing the mahjong with basic skills! even my 'disciple' (charlotte), from 'take(aka pong)' can also 'hu' the game, beating her sifu. LOL. anw, ferran was dying to come, but the US trip ... i guess would be appealing to his eyes. well, just a few photos to share here:

2) Christmas'eve
a gathering and celebration at charlotte's house, with all those appetizing food; buffet, turkey and chocolate fondue! but was having high fever the day before, thus i've got to missed all those goodies. it really spoiled my mood for christmas. hmm.. wad else can i do?

3)Just Brass Ensemble Concert (5 jan)
A wonderful evening and great experience to perform with all those good musicians and Mr Adams! i've really learnt quite much from all those preparations. hmm..didnt really get to take photos with all of them( only with sheryl). well.. i still want to thank all those who gave me support to attend this concert after much 'advertising' in YJ. Many thanks for you guys! esp. nicolette! =)

4)Feng Shui Extravaganza by Lillian Too (6 jan)
Just a day after the concert, and i went there feeling very tired and sleepy. i got there late, as long queues of people are standing outside the convention hall, waiting to get the best seats in the extravaganza. well, u might think that im weird or crazy to attend such seminars, since feng shui is just so traditional. haha, but its a science field that interests me quite alot. hmm..got to know 2 new friends there, luckily, as im not the only teenager there! HAHA! it surprises me that there are a thousand over people there! my first time gg for such convention. hmm..

5) my 18th birthday (10 jan)
woke with quite a daze in the morning with many new smses in my phone. mum asks me to pick lucky numbers for Toto. went to sch to sit for a econs paper, which i find rather easy. hmm..hopefully its the birthday aura that makes me smarter. after that, got a msg from mum that i can go buy 4D myself since im 18! HAHA! gamblers.. have a simple and sweet celebration with nicolette at my house.. plus revisions for the next day's paper(chemistry). A rare chance for me to eat KFC with my family, esp with my dad! and my bro got me a shirt for my birthday! well..he's quite forced into it since i gave him a christmas present last yr; and its not cheap!

6)today (12 jan)
went shopping with sd, zy, ferran, jason and vincent. shopping for CNY things. well..i didnt get anything for cny lar.. all prepared last yr.(typical kiasu singaporean) got a birthday treat from these guys at sakae. HAHA..i guess we really ARE still childish. with all those nonsenses, craps, random acts, etc. an expensive meal this is for one person, + sharing the cost of my meal. lol. thanks guys! thanks for the meal! =D

a new yr's post today comes with a little emptiness. well, i dunno wad i shld blog about..not like those new yr resolutions on TVs yet.. in fact.. im still in christmas mood! cos i missed christmas last yr('07) due to sickness. hmm..a new start in a yr would always have new aspirations for the yr. but time goes by..all these 'missions' seem to become 'boredom' again. nevertheless.. i still feel..a brand new yr shld have a brand new positive look of life! sometimes would want time to pass quickly..for e.g coming CNY..hoping it to come quickly! and maybe A levels to be over soon! but the preparation for the exam would be desired to be slow and take as MUCH time as possible.

lol..i got no idea why im making this post..sounds weird and rather emo. but wad im feeling now is. SIANZ! sch starting tml. =(

yeah!!! yesterday was fun!! kind of like it liao..even though i've got to wake up early and report at NIE @ 9am(which is so early n inconvenient), its still a memorable experience. may not have interact much with ALL the people in Holst band..but still get to know a few( probably thru my solo becos i always screw up, including the concert itself). yea..there were some who wished me gd luck.. n i was rather disappointing..hmm..
yea..take loads of photos last night.. its my first time performing at Esplanade n its a truly wonderful experience! the chairs at the concert stage is super comfortable! n the dressing rooms are..hmm..well its my first time to have a dressing room for concert. haha..quite a no. of cchysb pple turned up for the concert as well.. so happy to see them again! =D

just had band camp from monday to wednesday. but on tuesday, i was sick, had fever, and i missed my bbq in the camp..so waste lar!!! i paid for it leh..somemore all those titbits i also cant eat..sianz.. but managed to join in the skit competition..omg. chun siang has a high voice..HAHA. our skit won the competition. took some photos of tt night..

today. went cycling with nic, darren, christopher n claudia. well, though i missed my chance to eat with fur n jason today..together with sd n zy, but i still had a great time together with nic. hee =) this is not zhong4 se3 qin1 you3..its just tt this arrangement was made a week ago le.yea.. anw..for today..just like how i got into little accidents when i go out..i fell from my bicycle today.. got a cut but the bleeding's not much...

another week has passed after my last post.had INTENSIFIED sch days last week.it was DAMN sianz, but i managed to skip 2 days by gg for some engineering quest at NUS.this is more of a open house of the sch of engineering lar , n i guess i will b gg for some engineering course @ age 21.yea..and we went to St John's island to see ts tropical marine science institute anyway, to conclude my last days of JC1 @ YJ, i wasted 5 days. These % days are privileged for me to pon sch. why i say its a privilege?? well..because in this sch, one must have 95% of attendance to be promoted.lolz..and i didnt even ponned one day. so wasted. i shld have skipped that day when CCHYSB went for SYF earlier this yr.hmm...

yea..yesterday was my first try at tennis.it wld be one of the most memorable day for me as i did smth 'extraordinary'.i was in despair.
yet the game is fun! and im sort of addicted to this sport le.haha.. hmm..yeah!!..tml got band prac -_- actually its the BBQ im much more looking forward to tml. its my cousin's birthday. shall try to get photos tml. =)

ok.. had been cramming for my exam for th last 2 weeks..it was really cramming..due to persistent stress, doubts of what i knew and do not know and revising topics randomly and repeatedly..i was down with....throat infection - lol..its not as serious as it sounds anyway. But, this was right before my exam!! hmm..wad luck i have!!

shall not complain on how i did for the exams..well..in general.this exam.. is just.. like taking O levels within 2 weeks! i found myself studying everyday, i mean self revision, even just a week before the exam.. hmm..think this post gonna be just craps.. there's been quite some fun the past few days..wish i would be able to narate out the FULL DETAILS..but language is my flaw.. it wld be best if i've got videos and photos to show..hmm.. (i've have none)

hello... today went to a japanese memorial park.. in order words, a cemetry. we went there for chinese lesson, cos tt's a passage on this place. hmm...another week is gg to be over.. 1 more week to 4H outing!! cant wait for it..but i cut my hair..oh no..its very short!! not my 'guan cai de yi mu'..ok..i know its crappy..

ok..talk abt today..i went out with NYJC 0712 pple..the ever first time i went out for lunch with them..so pathetic..i must have been very anti-social back then.. and always regret why im so anti-social after we parted..so today..i decided to take a different path..ok back to the event. we had lunch at this japanese restaurant in marina square, cant really remember the name, yuki-yaki or smth. i wasnt aware we were gg for lunch, and thus, brought limited amt of cash(i dun use nets or credit either). Its my first time eating at this resturant, i was really afraid of the bill. Its a buffet lunch course, and i couldnt really eat much. just have to enjoy my time away.. den..we come to this interesting part of the course..ice-cream!! we have to 'cook' our own ice-cream, choosing our fav. flavours/ 'combinations of flavours' which turn out real bad(choco,green tea & coffee). yucks..
hmm..i forgot to take down photos of all the steps of 'cooking ice-cream'.shall just list the steps ..

step 1: ensure that the grilling plate is cold by putting ur finger on it.ur finger shld freeze.

step 2: Pour out ur ice-cream 'syrup' on the cold plate. (note: remove ur finger first) =)

step 3: use the gardening-like spades to minimise the area of ur flowing ice-cream.

step 4: keep flipping ur ice cream with the spades like a pancake. You cant flip the grilling plate.

step 5: add in ur ice-cream accessories to beautify it.( choco chips, raisins, choco rice, rainbow rice)

step 6: continue flipping ur ice-cream, this time round like a roti prata. repeat this step for 5 times.U can do it more than 5, cos its fun!( if u dunno how, refer to Annex I)

step 7: curl up ur ice-cream into a ball. its ok if u cant.

step 8: serve it on u plate, and ice-cream is ready!!

Annex I: Scrape all u ice-cream onto ur spade. raise ur spade high above the cold plate. slam ur cooled ice-cream onto the plate. make sure there is a 'Splate' sound.

yay!! holidays!!! 4 days break!! lolz...i know im very late..after holiday the blog..hmm..just gonna sum up everything i did during that long weekend..

8 August
national celebration in YJ..was abit late for reporting..played for the sch in the outdoor...lolz..was damn hot and the sun was glaring..i did not dare to play loud for fear of mis-pitching.. =p hmm..went for the taxi boat ride with bro,cheryl, jolin and ah yees at clarke quay down singapore river..the view from there was pretty..yea..took some photos..haven retrieve them yet..shall post them next time..

9 August
Happy National Day!! went to sally's hse in the late afternoon..saw the long-time-no-see kevin..but he still left early.. watched 'The Simpsons Movie' .. it was damn crappy lar..hilarious..and there were some racist jokes.. i like the 'spider-pig'!! haha.. watched NDP at there..well..wasnt really watching cos halfway the parade...we played mahjong(me,bro,sally,harold,charlotte).. was able to catch the fireworks from the sally's house..(she stayed in the 24th floor)..
now..2nd half of the day.. went to ferran hse at night..stayed over with siang deng and jason..when i reached there..they were dota-ing..so..i was kind of bored.. played Cashflow with them & i was the 'freshman' there..my profession was 'Truckdriver'..OMG!! study for 10 yrs..+ JC and future Uni..come out for job searching: i want to be truckdriver. diao...
we only played awhile cos i was distracted by phone, while also waiting for Mac delivery.. feeling tired to continue our game..we watched 'Britain's got Talent' on ferran's com..haha..come contestants were hilarious and ridiculous..while very rare ones..were amazingly talented.. i dozed off to sleep while watching.. zzz...

10 August
nth much during the morning..went to Escape with the rest + zongyi..was a hot,sunny day again.. hmm..tried out 2 new rides for me.. the inverter and the log thingy..haha..first time sitting the inverter..my heart was pounding very hard, muscles all tensed up while safety gears were wore over me.. den it started.. whaaa!!!! kind of difficult to descibe my feelings back then.. my surroundings were whirling 360 degrees vertically.. yea.. overall..the ride was really thrilling.. haha..would like to try it again some other time.. =)

went to cchy for 'self-sectional' yesterday morning..me and ferran were late..lucky no penalty..haha.. yea..watched 'Tom & Jerry'in sheryl's phone..haha..poor quality..no offence =P, cos mine is worse..

hmm..yea.. went to visit my 2 niece yesterday..one from my dad's side and the other my mum's.. hmm..dun think i shld post their pictures.. haha.. but from my mum's side, is a jap baby girl!! very cute!! 3 months old now, think her name is 'Kona-rika'..not very sure abt tt.. =)

hmm..yea..yesterday was the release of J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter 7... hmm..didnt buy the book..$40++ leh..its expensive!! well..quite envy others who got the book..and char was 'chionging' the book yesterday..said tt she wanna finish the book in 1 day..her reason?? will not have enough time to study O-levels.. diao.. even though i havent read the book..i know some of the things happened in the story le.. ad its all because of CHAR!!! she previewed some 'spoilers' to me.. lolz..

ok..tt's abt all..yea.. was watching 'Ghost Whisperer' with sally at char's hse..not an exciting day yesterday.. looking forward now to my 'cousin's outing'..yea.. =)

oh..finally blogged.. i got back all my results for block test le..failed 2 subjects..GP and econs.. =( at least i didnt get a single 'u' grade yet.. phew..

will just blog abt yesterday ba.. yea.. 7.45am had to reach sch(tt's early for a saturday)because of this 'talk', which aims 'to help us discover ourselves more and display leadership qualities'... and this talk costs us $57..and is complusory to attend.. wasted sia..

watched Harry Potter 5..haiz..more disappointments follow..the movie was..just..so.. crap?? dunno which single word can describe it.. lots of scenes were deleted..and storylines were changed.. for e.g they didnt feature the part of Ron with the floating brains.. the part where sirius died..was just so sudden..and emotionless.. unlike in the book..the whole scene there was quite depressing.. L.Malfoy shldnt be the one dropping the prophecy, there shld be a long fight between Harry and Bellatrix, Dumbledore was actually winning Voldemort, he freezes Voldemort in a orb of ice, the fountain figures shld be 'alive' chasing after Bellatrix..hmm..tt's part of all.. well..i enjoyed the part where the Wesley twins wrecked havoc against Umbridge with their splendid fireworks.. lolx.. =)

school ended a bit late, and i had to rush back to CCHY to attend their pop ceremony. when i reached there, the band was already getting ready to play Armenian Dances again conducted by Mr Toh, a last band practice for sec 4s/5s. was rather disappointing that i missed out the pop speech session..

a gift exchange session after that, and i recieved some presents from my section as well. Stayed in the hall for quite a while to mingle around with some of our fellow band mates & alumni. helped to take some photos for the graduating pple...

i was released from sch very late, abt half hr later. straight away chiong to sentosa, running from sch to home to mrt blah blah..

well, this is a day/occassion where i was expecting to take lots of photos. Reaching late at sentosa, i didnt get a chance to join in their games. i missed the musical fountain becos it was full hse. the photo-taking desire, was a real disappointment. well, went pooling at safra after tt.. it was not a thrilling day for me afterall...

Back from OBS camp

yeah!! finally!! im back home again!! i missed home alot!! i missed my family, my bed, my bathroom, my com, my TV, my sofa, my chilled yogurt drink..!! aww... during the 5-day camp, i was hoping to get home asap, to relax myself in all these ' luxuries ' i have now.

talking more abt the camp, well..the 5 days were tough, packed with tasks to be done within the strained time limit. and to CCHYSB pple, the camp is tougher than our own camp. be thankful for our 'relaxed' camp already hor..

ok..talking back about OBS, on the 1st day, we learned some basic tasks such as pitching the tent and cooking outdoor food( rice and maggi mee with very little dishes).

2nd is a much interesting day, because we are gg for a sea expedition!! kayaking for 10km i think, from one campsite to a 'unknown' land, it took abt 3-4 hrs. hands and shoulders were sore from the contionusly rowing of the boat. We only had powder bath, after all those pespiration from the kayaking, and we were damn stinky and sticky tt night, not at all suitable for sleeping. =(

3rd day, one of the day where my mood and spirit was very low, because we were going to for a expedition. It was a day so dreadful for me, because we have to hike/trek for around 10km of roads, with our heavy backpacks contaning all the stuffs and equipments we need for the whole expedition. Each backpack weigh 20 kg approximatly. Another restraint is that we had to complete the trek within 2 and the half hrs. And during the trek, i was like gg to topple over, with the heavy load pulling back down on me. Shoulders, arms and legs were further sored from the treking. It was more than exhausting, but i can't think of any word more impactful than 'exhausting'. We did high elements after tt, not too bad, even though our strength and stamina were drained off from the trek.

4th day, one of the slackiest day, there was a YJC challenge where 3 rafts and 2 launchers have to be built by selected pple, while the others have to play games and complete tasks to earn and raise funds to 'purchase' materials for the rafts. We did another treking, but it was in the night, and only a few km of forest trail. It was much relaxed than day 3.

Last day, everyone were in high spirits as all of us can't wait to get home!! We did some cleaning, cheers after tt, before getting on the boats and set off to Singapore mainland!!

From the camp, i learnt quite a few things that we have to apply to our daily lives; perserverance, endurance, appreciation to all the things we have now( our family, our bed, our home-cooked food, etc..)

finally the day have come, the day CCHYSB is going to show to others what they've got. well, i was in sch today , so was feeling sad that i was unable to join CCHYSB & trumpet section today. had physics test today, and i was doing horribly and terribly for my paper. can't stop thinking abt the band, even though they have not started. as a result, i just passed the physics test. well, heard that the band was enjoying alot and very high today. sing songs, do waves, circle here circle there, sounds so fun..!! to me, cchysbs are so united tt they look like a big family to me..

well, i'm proud that CCHYSB has done their best, even though they got a silver award. this yr, the judging is very strict, and getting the desired awards are so much tougher now. A previous gold band= silver band now, thus, our band now is a gold band for the previous syf!! well, this doesnt really matter, because CCHYSB is a gold band for me and the other alumni !! btw, i'm certain and believe tt cchysb now (2007) has attained a high silver award!! well, not exactly 100% pure silver...because this award has impurities of gold!! lolz..getting to too much chemistry ain't i? one of the msn nicks tt catches my eye is ' Silverish Gold Band '(from jerry)... tt's what our band now is.. i also heard abt those postive comments abt our band given by mr toh, ms sia, tutors, mr lee and the principal,mr ong. glad..

this is a 'fa cai shu' or 'moneytree' where they are many bells hung on it with various labels such as ' pin an ' , ' da ji ' and ' fa cai '. you can see many people throwing their coins(deng kia) onto the tree, trying to hit the bells.the bells also come in various sizes, so i guess the smaller u get, the luckier you can get from it. well, i managed to hit a small bell, abt the size of my thumb. the bell was ' FA CAI ' !!

im glad that im able to go river hong bao this yr and experience the cny 'atmosphere'..becos the last time i went there was 5 yrs old.. river hong bao is not at all ' out-dated '.. it's a place where u bring along your family and cherish the time together, since most of us( teenagers ) dont really spend much time with our family.

yea..christmas season is here.. other counries are having snows ..but singapore..rain..wad a pity.. it has been raining for so many days.. just summarised wad happened from last week..

band camp:
1st day: water bomb fight in the heavy rain
2nd day: superband and watch 'mr holland opus'. had meiji strawberry milk.
3rd day: 'amazing' race at the zoo..meiji alumni came in 1st place. haunted hse preparation..and being the 'ghost'..
4th day: bought chocos for section(5 pple)..playing throughtout the night..slept at 5am..6.30 am woke up..
5th day: 1/4 awake..

stayed over at harold's hse on the eve of christmas' eve..

hmm..haven update my blog for more than a week le..was kind of busy and lazy.. shall start from last monday..

4th dec: went along with the others for cchysb and fjsb music exchange.. get to know some of the fjsb trumpeters..

7th dec: trumpet section outing..initially, the activity was some paddling boat at some reservoir but was changed to cycling at east coast. however..bec of the rain..we went to escape theme park..had not been there for like 2 yrs..quite a no. new rides there.. and finally..i get to go for a ride in " Go-Kart ".. the first time i played..with no experience at all..i came in first while competing with syak,sheryl and zong yi.. a lucky feat..

9th dec: grandma's bdae..had dinner in a resturant in Carlton Hotel..i think its called ' wah lock ...restaurant' .. the 'cousin' table was very 'full' ... a table suitable for 10 seats..was like crammed for 13 pple..and yet..it was still not enough to hold all the cousins in one table..

10th dec: a day-off for visiting my dad's side grandparents.. had nth to do at home..thus..instead of lazing around at home..i went to esplanade library alone to find some scores for reference.. i wanted to borrow "Arban, a conservatory method book for trumpet " ..but it was not available again..was just borrowed 2 days back..which was 8th dec..have to wait till 16 dec.. anyway..i photocopied some other scores from another method book..i cant just go back empty-handed right? ..

11th dec: went for band practice..but during the afternoon..i found myself shivering with cold..while my face and eyes were burning hot..felt so tired and dizzy..went straight home after band..upon reaching home..i reached for my thermometer..a measurement of 39 degrees..wow..tt's high.. went to the nearby clinic..waited like 2 hrs till it was my turn to see the doc..well..during those 2 hrs..my fever had subsided..got some medicine for sore inflamation..

12th dec: after a night sleep..my head still felt heavy..ocasionally with sudden pains in my head.. continued reading 'Eragon' though..my bro went to sentosa with the 'normally-hang-out cousins'.. at 4pm sharp..yishun was facing a thunderstorm..a sudden huge surge of lightning struck across the sky...(and my window).. a blackout occured.. 2nd time this month.. went to the storeroom and did some adjustments..everything was back to normal then.. 7pm..went out to buy dinner for my mum and myself..while walking..i noticed a rainbow across the sky..was very beautiful..i kept admiring it.. focusing on how the 7 colours blended naturally to form 3 obvious ones...

ok..finally i got 1 day to go out with my cousins...was really busy during my prelims and o levels period..yet they can all go out and play during tt time..a ha..but not now !! im more free than them now..so free tt im gg to become a statue..

ok..lets back to wad the main topic was.. met up with my bro..den with harold..lolx..were supposed to meet harold at the first cabin of the mrt..and he said at the FRONTEST part..yet..he dunno waited at where..well its in the first cabin..but the back of the 1st cabin..dotz..we were in different frequency then..as a result..we missed 2 trains at 2 stations..and were later for abt 30 min..nvm..dun think cheryl wld mind..

we really had no idea where to shop first..since its like..so boring..we got nth in mind to buy actually..we decided to go to suntec..as tt's where we had not gone for a long long time..quite a old place bah..we used to go there when we were very young..primary 3/ 4 ..i think..we also went to MW to get some candies from Candy Empire..i bought again 2 'chocolate-coated marshmallow'..nice and cheap.. $ 1.00 for 1 roll..abt 10 cm long and diameter of 2 cm..

next stop..we reached esplanade.i suggested to go to the library..as i wanna check out some music stuffs..before gg to the library..we were at ' Mrs. Fields ' and bought some ' semi-sweet cookies'.. $ 1.80 each... share it with my bro.. its sweet and..u get the kind of feeling after eating some honey..i dunno wad's the word to describe..its " intangible" ..dotz..

spent like 2 hrs in the library... its so cold in there..the air-con there is damn power..but..its just too cold.. i dun like it.. :P .. borrowed 2 cds..both for trumpets.. oh yar..i forgot..while borrowing the cds..i was rather shocked by the borrowing-machine. after inserting my ID card..it said ' You have outstanding fees ...' and i quickly went to check out how much i owed such that i have accumulate an " outstanding" record. and u know wad?? it turned out to be just $0.60..diao..i was expecting like $10 plus or smth..

had dinner at Marina Sq food court.. the stall i queued up sells some mini wok..and..i find it rather amusing and irritated by the cashier.. when i was waiting for the food to be served.. he kept saying, " no worry, food no good.can refund.no worry." and he kept repeating it..well in both mandarin and english.. but..their food is really gd..and also can be seen by the rather long queue of pple... no wonder tt guy was so confident.. " no worry.food no gd.can refund." lolx..

yesterday was our big day...just like what mrs sim said... its the our graduation day..and since its OUR day...we have to commit oursleves wholeheartedly in everything we do on this special occassion... and this day..was my first time to see the whole sch(sec 4s) singing the sch song so passionately and clear...really touching..i guess...many of our sch mates cried.. and some hugged each other... its was a touching sight for me... but i didnt cry..it was almost only..

ok...yesterday was the chinese paper 2 prelim exam...very boring..seeing tt most of the pple from my class not retaking...im sort of distracted..haha.. however...doing the CL paper 2 for 1 & half hr, time seems to pass very quickly.. most of those retaking the paper finished it in 1 hr..but not me..i fully used up the time.. lolz...

yeea!! gg to attend my cousin's wedding dinner tonight..which means i can relax and chat with my other cousins..whom which we seldom met up..except on special occassion such as ah gong ah ma bdae... :)

so..yea.. had a great time at the wedding dinner...chatting with my cousins happily.. which was the first time i managed to chat and laugh so much with them...last time wasnt like this..perhaps it was because of my 'shy' character... diao... but its true... i had a cousin(Cherie) same age as me..which means she's also taking her 'O' levels this yr... so..haha..before the dinner start...we discussed abt school subjects and stress..blah blah blah...

the feast started at 8.30... and i was so hungry.. keep eating the roasted nuts and drinking my orange juice to keep my mouth busy...haha... and at the same time taking photos...lolx..i guessed we were the 'vainpots' or 'stars' there...lolz... we took photos..other people looked at first..quite paiseh.. haha..perhaps the 'photogenic and always-take-photos' genes were in our blood..cant help it... see a camera..we posed.. lolz...

during the dinner..cherie did quite a number of silly stuffs:

she was eating some nuts( which my dad brought)..and she couldnt finish..becos of those oily stuffs and pimples..so she decided to put them ' aside' .. and was caught red-handed by my dad..lolz..she was so paiseh..and my dad was standing beside me for some time...den cherie didnt dare to look at my dad...lolz..
she dared us to raise up our hands high into the air for 5s..lame...

well..its been a week since i have not even visited my own blog..lolz...been very busy lately...becos of the prelims...( science prac..) well...i suppose i did fairly well for my chem prac...HAHA.. my properties..

on wednesday...zy,sd,jr and fazli all came to my hse..which i dun really want them to come...dotx.. but in the end..we all played monopoly( Worldcup 1998 version) ...lolx...its a crazy game!!.. all the properties were bought...and anywhere u go..u will have to pay $$ to others...tt's so 'dangerous'..thus..the best way is to go to jail.. squat in there..waiting for ur 3 missed turns to finish...watching the others paying u $$... tt's so cunning.. so lame.. anyway..we still dun know who's the winner... i was like losing alot of $$ actually..so too bad.. :P

friday...during mdn sue's class..she tested me on some S.S contents..lucky i got it correct..just happened to flip thru the page before she tested me...lolx..and now she know my name..im worried tt she's gonna test me everynow and then of her lessons... :( haiz...

anyway...ms ang was very kind and generous...she gave the whole class Mid-Autumn festival presents...dotx... the gift included some sweets, souvenirs from Thailand, a lantern...and a note from her on each indivduals... haha.. my purple elephant...some pple wanted to trade with me...i said ' NO!'

TKWO workshop

hmm.. today was the immediate workshop for trumpet...and other instruments: clar and trombone.. i think today was the earliest day i woke up throughout this sept. holidays..lolx..the rest were like..erm...10 to 11 am plus...

reached ACSI..and omg..their sch is damn big..more like a office building to me...esp the insides...the carparks..the structures...

we were registering our names in the sch..when jason found tt there's error in his participating details..he claimed tt he was participating for the immediate lesson only..which the error was for advanced(observer)...then..he suddenly remembered tt he signed wrongly on the edusave form given to all of us..lolx.. he made us all rather worried..due to his CARELESSNESS!!

next...we were in the lecture theatre..waiting for the instructor, Ms Mamiko Ando..trumpeter of TKWO. the no, of participants turn out to be very much less than i expected...because..before the application form was ready...we had already decided and informed our teacher..for applying the workshops for us... Ms Mamiko arrived...and we all remained silent..well..throughout the whole thing..hardly any pple were chatting away...

Ms Mamiko's playing is superb..impressive...her warm-out exercises were crazy enough..fast and a wide range of low and high notes... then... she introduced to us when she started playing the trumpet..and how she was impressed by a trumpet playing...from the song " Olympic Celebration "( i forgot wad's the tittle..)....omg..she was super loud... goose pimples were felt by nerves of my arms and face...

well..though the workshop was gd..but..there was 1 thing tt spoiled my mood...u see...4 pple were late for the workshop..and when Ms Mamiko was conducting the lecture.. they just walked into the lecture room as if nth happened..then..when Ms Mamiko gave us a break of 10 mins while she went out ...these 4 pple went out of the theatre and played their instruments... then..when Ms Mamiko returned to the theatre...and the break had ended...those 4 pple were still outside playing their instruments!! somemore.. Ms Mamiko had to personally go out of the theatre and ask them to come back in...this is truly ATROCIOUS!! dont they have any respect for Ms Mamiko?! plus..Ms Mamiko is from TKWO...all the more we shld respect her..she's trying to be as humble as she can..i can see that...because she did told us of some of her difficulties in playing trumpet...

there's too much for me to blog everything i learned from this workshop..they all need understanding..so..yea..i understand can liao...haha...at the end of the workshop..Ms Mamiko played a small piece for us..a concerto...but i didnt hear clearly wad the tittle was...gonna check it out 'soon'...i actually wanted to take a photo with Ms Mamiko..but she left in a hurry..so..haix.. so sad... :(

after which...me,zy,jason and jr all went to jurong to have lunch..jr 's having the advanced workshop..so he left for it first..while the rest of us went to IMM...wanted to go to Band World..never been there before...but..mr toh was not in..and their shop was closed..though we knew tt the staff were in the warehouse..we walked past it...but none of us have the 'courage' to enter...

thus..we spent the time in wandering in IMM..with our heavy instruments..my hands were sore from it...the arms were like jelly..no strength at all...

had my dinner with my dad and bro...went popular bookshop..saw ferran..he just had a basketball competition...den...blah blah blah...nth interesting happened afterwards..except tt i realised how much hw i had not completed...sianz..tml den do..gg play harvest moon now...

a special teacher's day (2)

after our school's celebration...i was supposed to take my t.pet home...cos having a course next week :)...it was troublesome to take a trumpet along and rushed back to our primary sch...and we were so damn late... we were supposed to meet the others at 12pm..and reached there at 2pm.. omg...

we reached the sch and met up with our pri sch friends.. can recognise most of them...and we stayed in the concourse to chat, exchange no.s...figuring out who the other person is...and take photos!! and we hadn't even look for our form teacher ( we were all in class 5B)... it was like after half an hr then we went to find her... luckily we saw her...she was about to leave the sch to attend Prime Minster's rally....wow!!

yea!! she remembered me..cos i was her star student..lolx..just kidding.. :)
and some of the others lar... but we didnt talk much...she was in a rush..so ..haha..take photos with her...

after saying " Gd Bye" to her..we stayed in the sch...playing ' Vampire' !! a sort of catching..but more challenging..haha..yea..some pple said its childish...but its better to play the game now..than playing it 10 yrs later...lolx... and it was our childhood game... we played in the concourse...but was kenna caught by the OM...sianz.. but we continued right after he went away...lolx..played in the canteen...

it was a huge lot of us playing..abt 10...and there were also some pri sch kids there...we continued to play..but was stopped after a while...and this time..was not by the OM... but 1 of the kids just happened to bump onto my friend...the kid fell..and the back of his head bleed.. everyone was so worried...the kid probably had a cut on his head... :( the kid was sent to the general office..and we followed and waited outside... my friend who knocked onto the kid went in to check things out..while we waited outside...then...another friend went in...
it was like..erm...why he went in too...?? then..again...another 2 pple went in too...lolx...the rest of us were think tt perhaps all of us wld be inside the office too... lolx... anyway...the kid was brave..he didnt cried..but was sent to a nearby clinic..one of the teachers said tt he probably need stitchies.. omg.... everyone was just hoping tt the kid wld be fine...

we decided to go to North point...we stayed at BK for lunch..which was at 4pm...lolx...and we stayed there to chat..keep up with each other... our "big" grp was separated into 3.. lolx..and from wad john and eleanor were talking..pres high was indeed very 'happening'...so many weird stuffs to talk of...haha....

our grp was the last to leave..stayed there until 7.30..and my neck was aching while talking to others...my butt suffered as well...seating there for 3 and a half hrs straight.. lolx..well...hope to have another gathering after o levels...

a special teacher's day (1)

wow...this year's celebration was very different from others...let's just start from what happened on this day...

morning: it was raining cats and dogs early in the morning(haha..just some ' complex' phrases...maybe more use of them can improve my english)... i was drenched to the skin when i reached school..what a day...the rain just dampened everyone's moods...a day to appreciate what the teachers had done for us..( well...we shld be appreciating them every now and then)... my class t-shirts were ready and distributed to everyone in the class..and to the teachers who taught our class...well...their shirts were free...they were the presents from my class...it was quite ex ..but they are worth the $$..and better presents than other presents such as " pens" and etc.etc... as if the teachers are always running out of pens to mark our works...

well...it was really nice tt those teachers who had our shirts wore them for the day...haha.. they sure care for us...EVEN mdn sue is wearing our shirt..even though she used to refer us as arrogrant people..lolx..and teachers were thanking us for the shirts a no. of times..haha..and there was...of course..our lovely form teacher..Ms Ang!! lolx... some of the classmates baked 2 cakes..for her, which became the food for the class... and i..of course...stayed in class to have some share of the cakes..even it was during recess...lolx..well...it was the photos i wanted to take actually..lolx...

well...the last bit of our day in school..is both gd and bad..haha..the different thing abt this yr celebration is tt the concert was very long...abt 2 hrs i think...some items were entertaining...and of course.some not... and btw...we had to rush back to our primary sch and meet up with primary sch friends.. the concert was eating up our time... and to be rushed by primary sch friends is of course..not a nice moment...

Mus'art Winds Adventure

...dotx..i know the tittle is lame.. but isnt it catchy?? hhaha...

today went to Mus'art Winds with a friend.. which is located at Jurong Green CC..and when we reached there..its was quite easy to find their practice room... however.. both of us reached there quite late...and the band had already began their practice.. we wanted to enter the room..but it will be very awkward..everyone inside were like strangers to us... and we were strangers to them too..except for my cousin..who is part of Mus'art too...

we waited for an hour outside the door...and ocassionally, opened the door slighty to take a glance of what's inside...haha..we didnt have to courage to enter the room...

well... we decided to wait for their breaktime and then enter the room..which we didnt event know if there is any breaks or when is it...so..it was rather risky... but anyway..we guessed it would be 3.30pm..which was correct!! LOL..

during their break..i saw my cousin coming out from the room..and i hurried to chat with her. we then followed her into the studio...and were introduced to the conductor, Mdm Tan, and were also allowed to sit in and play with the musicians...as they were also sight-reading their new scores..

and so..we spent the day in the practice room( which is a bomb shelter room..surprised?? ) and going through the practice with them...and besides..we were allowed to borrow instrument from them and play together..but i didnt..it wld be embarrassing...

ohh..and they were playing some pieces such as "Westside Story" !! and i saw those scores...and remembered some of the notes..HAHA...

the practice was rather relaxed..not as strict as i suspected...and perhaps..i going there again after my 'O's... yea!!

today was supposed to be quite a fine day to me... though there quite some pressure from my schoolwork... but then.. it was tt moment just now..that made me fed up... i guess that i can partly blame the moody feeling on my pettiness...but it was * fault... cant they have the ' stewardship' attitude...?? since those things(BR) doesnt belong to them and they are using those things...why cant * treat the stuffs with care?? those BR are not theirs...and * still dare to make acrobatic acts out of those BR( which are mine) ...and i was glaring at *..he didnt notice me earlier..and i saw * stepped on my BR...please lar...do consider ur weight...it will definitely damage those weak pieces of metals....and those arent urs anyway...who said you have the rights to 'abuse' them?? somemore still can ask me : 'wad??' when he realised i was looking at him...and when i told him off ...he still dare to continue doing those foolish ' acrobatic acts' ...and abused my things again...

i was like.. want to kick him right into his face...ask him to get lost from my sight...idiotic person... i better warn u again...next time i see still doing those ' childish, stupid and clumsy acrobatic acts'... u shall NEVER use my things...

@@ and pls ask me for permission when want to use my stuffs... its rude... esp when the thing was supposed to be used for my trumpet...!!!

haha...finally i've decided to update..rather lazy to blog now... also nth much special happened to me recently..

yea..today finally get the class photo we took on National day... still got a few CCHYSB alumi photos havent take from wan peng...waiting for her to send me.. wait very long le leh...

anyway..recently i've been much more attentive in class liao...trying to focus more on study...maybe its becoz of the coming prelims which made me realise how bad i was in my studies..maybe i will retain for 1 yr in cchy...who knows ??

even though there is much focus on my studies... there's also quite some fun... a few days ago...me, zhi hao, sophia, suxian and peiling still shoot rubber bands at each other in class...lolx... i know its childish..but cant help it...take the opportunity now to be childish than when older....haha...

ok...still left about 2 weeks to september holidays...yes...gg to attend a music workshop for the first time...somemore is by TKWO... woo!!

troubled choice

woke up this morning...first thing i thought of was to go jc or poly next yr?? this matter has been bothering me for a few weeks... i have still not know wad is best for me... shld i accept NYJC 's offer?? due date is 14 Aug... time sure is running out..

my ultimate aim is to get into a university..and to enjoy life while studying...is this possible when in a jc?? or in a poly.. am i able to get into a Uni..??

ok..today really screwed my playing...esp my sight read.... it just reflects how bad i am.... even though it doesnt matter if i can pass the audition... im still lacking my fundamentals.. its August already..im still lagging away from my 'planned' revision... yet im still in the mood to watch next week's fireworks display...

ok...today got 'free' transport from ms lim... then after audition..went to see her dogs from the house's back gate... the dogs quite scared me though...her " Nugget" was so huge in size... i thought it was a cute little one...scary...

then went to her neighbour house..i think...more dogs in the house...but smaller and cuter ones... heard the owner said that one of the dogs just vomitted..which explained why there was a stench when we went in..argh!!

..and then there were stains on my pants!! must be one of the dogs... eews...

tt's all.... must at least revise one chapter of subject now...

ok..today planned to revise 4 subjects de..still cant make it..too easy to get distracted... went to woodlands library to study..with jerry & sp..along the way met alinia..she was in a rush...lolx.. go there(library) only to chat & gossip..not study... i really cant study in grps... all my concentrations on studying all gone..sianz...

had some very 'mature' talking...lolx..

after some time in the library..went to sakae to fill up our stomaches...lolx..really is my first time there..so xia shui... dont know wad to order...sp and jerry ordered quite alot.. lolx...jerry is very cruel..trying to break someone's relationships with his friends...idiot...too bad..he cant do it..HAHA...

anyway..learnt something new...

these few days seemed so boring.. the prelims and 'O's are drawing near..yet there's no mood for me to study..i guess i will failed my english and ss.... really cannot make it...

on thursday, mr toh told me abt the 'life' in jcs & poly...now..i'm really confused..trapped in a dilemma.. i'm really lost in my thinking.. what shld i do??

nowadays..those few friends with me are having their private talks every now and then... its very irritating tt our whole grp has nth much to share abt now..it's so boring..

at least there's one hope of happiness for me during this 2 weeks..next tuesday..some china pple coming to our school...dunno for what purpose..and our NBC band is susposed to perform for them..and tt's means..early dismissal and playing in a band!! yeah!!

and also gg to take photos again..haha..told weipeng to take a photo with him... my files and pictures are getting too much space in my com..have to get a thumbdrive..

..ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!!....

..impressive....the japanese band was so impressive...esp. " The Incredibles".... hope to watch their performance again....

at the concert hall....ferran was dozing off to sleep..for the 1st half...lolx...during interval...noryln came to find ferran...say she saw Alexa...and the dying " Fei Ren" sprang back to life...(ok..its lame)...sd & zy are also interested in finding her...then...our whole grp moved closer to where she was sitting...

me & jr cant really figure out where she was seating...we expected her to be quite a distance awway from us...lolx...

2nd half.... disco party 3...with the dancers...HAHA..funny... then Incredibles...omg...the whole band treated the concert hall as in outdoor...performing as a marching band...most of us watched in awe....followed which was " Deep Purple Medley" ..the whole band was so sexy..esp Tubas!!..lolx...

the concert ended...after abt 3 encores...(i think)...

most of the audience went to take photos with the japanese band...including me...

outside VCH.. our grp take photos with 1 of the trumpeters....i think its quite a lot(photos) for tt girl...lolx.... waited quite long time to have photos taken..but...it's quite worth it... haha.

ok...today borrowed a Malay costume from syakinah... in my group of friends...i was the only one wearing it...felt so weird...and they keep suaning me...haix...

haiz..not everyone in my class wore the costume..so disappointing ....

NBC Celebration

everyone was susposed to report at the LTR...mr toh giving his speech..reading out the judges comments...ohoh.... Bravo for trumpet solo...bravo for the solos... :)

having pizza meals again...this time in the canteen...ok...this time also got photos taken..with pizzas....

after tt...we were supposed to clear up the mess...the celebration could be much fun..if there were no time limit to get out of school.... :(

zy ' vomitted ' out the coke.. made a total mess(jk)...and also at the clarinet section table...lolz...

wearing the nbc shirts...we took some photos at the fitness corner with mr toh...and i think jeremy was at the piano...practising is for a few days...HAHA...

1st National Band Competition

today, at abt 5.30pm, is our competition..the day finally arrived. we had some final rehearsals in the AVA room...then..trying to relax ourselves as much as possible. this time...i guess we don't have a very high expectation for ourselves...we just try our best...

reaching VCH...outside VCH...our band took some photos... i saw mus'art wind orchestra...saw my cousin...went to say 'hello'....

time is drawing near...it's our time to go to the tuning room... i guess alot of us were nervous...cause we took quite some time to tune...can we really make it??

inside VCH..waiting for our turn to be on stage...while cheering each other up...

mr toh:" you guys have perform so many times...all of u shld not be as nervous like last time...just take this as a performance..try ur best and enjoy urself "....( i susposed he said this..of coz is not word for word..roughly there... :)

we played finish..everyone was like beaming with hope...feelings of hope of getting a gold also start to rouse... outside the concert hall...we were like in a big sale... everyone( including other schools) were trying to get their hands on the NBC souvenirs...haha..ferran is gd at snatching...while i was waiting at the cashier there...he came back quickly with 2 shirts, posters and booklets...LOL....

went back to the concert hall...waiting for the results..tensions started to build up in us...as the few schools before us were getting silver awards...its our turn next...ms lim, the commentor for the competition..paused for a while..looked at mr toh...paused again...and announced:' Chung Cheng High School Symphonic Band...84.5%...GOLD!!!'

'' WHOOOO!!!! WHEEE!! YEAH!!!'' shouts like this came from us...some punching into the air for triumph...( ferran tan doing tt..lolx..)

a remarkable break for us...a break in the 'curse'...

tt evening....we spent time in taking photos...congratulating each other... couldn't have felt much happier...we finally made it!!

it's a sad case tt mr toh wouldnt have time to celebrate the joy with us tt night...he had meetings to do abt NBC...

YES!!! we are gg to gain back our fame in school!! yet..mr toh sae we have to be humble...haha... everyone's msn nick is gg to include a "gold" ..lolz..

Passion Brass 1 yr anniversary 8/7/06

ohh...1 yr has passed so quickly...and also finally we had our celebrations...it has been months we had not celebrate...

today..wearing our very own jersey...nice...haha... me..with no. 10....lolx... ok.. our celebration was at Marina South..eating steamboat... cheap and can eat at there almost the whole day!! wahaha!!

before that..we reached a little too early..so..went and play 'football'...those twist the 'players inside the box... haha...nice and funny game... during a match... the goal keeper score...haha..and is seldom by the strikers.. :) ..ok..after that go into the arcade..play games..had some game battles with wl...oh dear..i lost so many matches to her... :(

ok..almost time for steamboat...we made a mess there... wasting quite a lot of food...even if there is 2 FNN students with us...haiz...

had photos taken during the dinner and after that...went to a nearby soccer field...take photos...den...we began a long journey....

JOURNEY to SUNTEC !!
we walked all the way from marina to suntec..very long journey..not sure wad is the correct direction..but..we still moved on..getting lost while taking pictures...haha..we reached under a highway..ooh..damn dark inside..and wild imaginations entered my head...i thought of stumbling over a corpse...TOUCHWOOD !!

ok..den..take photos on the highway..with background scenery of the Esplanade...running along the highway..our ' goalkeeper is the fastest!!' and our ' forward striker'...the last of all...lolx...

so tired after the whole day of activities...esp the journey..take almost 1 and 1/2 hrs...LOL....

CCHY Opening Ceremony

30th June...our school opening ceremony...a big day for the school...CCAs, teachers...blah..blah blah...

the school had already a number of rehearsals for this occasion...full dress rehearsals....

the VIP of this event: 1st Minister for Finance...

on the day itself...parade marches in the parade sq..it's not a thing u can see everyday... :) the whole dae we practice a lot...esp the dance...yeah!!

during lunch break: having a big lunch at Kahtib Central...a sportsman championship( the winner was me)...hehe.... having fights with jason on a monkey bar...dangerous...risky...easy to lose ur precious...haha...i was kicked right in the face by jason...and this movement was recorded...haha...lucky both of us take off our shoes... :)

finally return to school...for the last item our band is putting up... the dancers' grp(me,sd,jason,jerry,jamie,sp,norlyn & jinghui) practice and practice...haha...

during the performance..we were very nervous...maybe is our first time dancing for the public...haha...though there were not enough coordination in our dancing...the outcome was rather good...and the Minister was smiling..haha...is it really gd?? or hilarious?? lolx...

perfomance ended... ok..take pictures again...had some chatterings with alinia and erika...took photo with miss lim...is it the last??..hope not...well...the pic still with mr toh..other day den ask him from it...

day after P.O.P

ok...im being gg home very late in 3 consecutive days...sure gg to get scolded again....

today..went to watch SSO concert( including 1 trumpet concerto) with zy and jr...sit at the highest and cheapest seats...lolx...during interval met weipeng...

after concert...we met up with sd & jeremy...den..we wait for mr toh's car..gg to eat dinner with him at changi village...we squeezed into the car...and for abt 20 min...so long...
while along the changi rd...we stopped by the rd and watched airplanes...den......we raced against the 1 of the plane!!!
haha....funny sia...

we reached our changi village...and mr toh start telling us abt " ah guas' at there...and tt midnight was their active period...lolx...everything said was den exaggerated...

we had nasi lemak and BBQ sting ray for supper....the queue at the nasi lemak store was long....must be very famous..mr toh also sae it's famous...

we ate, drank(sugarcane) and chat .....until when we are abt to go home...mr toh brought us to see the 'ah guas'...HAHA.... while in the car...mr toh drove the car near to 'them'...and another 2nd round...with the windows open at where sd seating...sd was like shouting and screaming ...HAHA...we laughed all the way....

i guessed we reached home abt 1 am....

P.O.P 2006

P.O.P....feeling tired after last night concert...in afternoon..went to northpoint to get some gifts for mr toh with sd,zy,emu,jeremy....haha....i bought a small soft toy doggy for mr toh...for him to remind of me...lolx...

during P.O.P, mr toh made a speech, and sp cried...sobs sobs...having a pizza meal(canadian pizza) in our sectional areas..provided by mr toh and teachers...as we ate the pizzas..zy who cried earlier in the hall...made the whole section cried...including sec 1s...he sure have charms...HAha...ok...

" Crying is gg to make ur pizza salty...u can forget abt the powdered cheese..."

had a long time taking many photos..with lots of memories behind these photos...worth it...

Reflection:am i feeling sad or happy?? or even worst...nth...i dunno...im so confused...but...seeing some of the other band mates crying...i also have the feeling to join with them....more than 3 yrs i had spent on this band...i knew it was quite a tough journey...but..i just didnt feel the sufferings of those past days....it seemed just like watching a movie..a long one...with selected scenes...with great details...except...the fact that the feeling is not repeated...

but...really want to thank Ms Lim, Mr Toh, alummi ( WeiPeng,GuoXian, etc)...for guiding the band and fostering us...and also had so much fun...also thanks to the other past teachers-in-charge too...

to ms lim & mr toh: i really owed both of u alot...whenever we make mistakes...we were given chances(esp. the SYF 2005..really want to cry)...and of coz punishment...Without ms lim's effort..the band wouldnt have gone to thailand ....and i wouldnt have so much fun...and pictures taken..(although im still wasnt a photofreak yet at tt time)...also...thanks to mr toh..for teaching me musically..plus some other principles of life...

and i believed tt "musicians are more intelligent than the others"....

" have i really put band as my first piority?? .... "

those moments and memories in the new and old school...band rooms...band stores( me, zong yi, and the key story) ..band camps..band practices...i just didnt manage to capture them... its so ke xi...

the night ended at GV carpark..where 'Inferno Affairs" had taken place....haha...

the concert is finally today!! we had waited for it so long...plus the past practices...really worked very hard for it...

at VCH...ms lim was there to help us sew a few dropped off buttons...and mine dropped off one..hehe..

" Ring....." concert starting soon...quick...get ready....
and just minutes before the concert...me,sd,zy,jason,ferran...all go back to the toilet to check on our hair...and do some final touches on them..haha...we must have really being vain..this also apply to others ba...cos tt night was my first time seeing ming ching styling his hair...lolz..

must have been quite nervous...but first half went quite gd...happy tt my solo part was more of a success...haha...yeah!!! Passion Brass was able to perform too....

2nd half was even nicer...coz there is more upbeat pieces...esp Disco Party 3....weipeng solo is nice....whole audience start screaming...haha...
plus...the spongebob sq pants song and shao nian shi dai...wanpeng really handled the teaching task well...lolx...

the concert was unforgetable...esp when watson conducted us for ' U raise me up'.... so 'cool'...ok....

at backstage...flowers were receieved from my section mates...thank u guys...photos were taken....feeling very tired and happy... sianz that there is school the next dae....

ok...i think i started blogging a bit too late le... well...although i had lots of pic taken on special occasions.... i think those true feelings are fading away in my mind...how to preserve them?? at least i hope im in Harry Potter's world....where there is the pensive...store my memories...allow mi to recall those precious moments...haiz...im day-dreaming again....
